It’s been exactly a month since I got back from Europe, and two years since I went there for the first time. It’s amazing how time flies, and even though we say it all the time, looking back feels surreal.
This trip was more than I could’ve asked for, even with the European weather behaving like a complete ass. I guess you can say it added to the memories that I’ll now have forever, so I guess a touch of gratitude should be extended.
Germany, once again, was the first stop on our first European trip together.
Last time I was happy with my flight, and this time I won’t say it was terrible, but it definitely wasn’t my favorite. Lufthansa one, Air France zero, but thanking them both for getting me there safe and sound!
We basically spent three days in every country, which was enough to see what we wanted to see, but this was a highlights trip, not an in-depth one, there’s a difference.
In Germany we stayed in Wiesbaden with Jenny, Carlos, and Aliani (she’s the cute baby that will pop up in some pictures). Carlos is in the army, so we stayed in a military base in Wiesbaden, less than half an hour from Frankfurt.
Last time I was in Germany I didn’t post anything, and this time we didn’t take many pictures. So, for this post I’ll be combining both, and focusing on seven places worth visiting while in Germany in order of preference.
